Bonnaroo 2011: The Warren Haynes Band
Well Roo-heads this is where I play favorites. Being a man of southern root the humbling and familiar sounds of Mr. Warren Haynes’ electric voodoo capture me indefinitely.
Once upon a time…. just kidding. No but seriously Warren has gotten me through up, down, left, and right over my still youthful life and I will always be true. The Bonnaroo 2011 performance was nothing to put in your back pocket but still a treat. Warren delivered a refreshing oldtimer “Sick of My Shadow” and a newbie “Hattiesburg Hustle” to thousands. Played a couple more diddlies, but these two caught my attention.
Warren is a man of true trade vs. all trade. Where he goes ears follow, including mine. Southern rock is a necessity. Just as any other region’s popularity Warren’s gift should and will be embraced. I participate, cultivate, and rejuvenate his sound with my devotion.
Let the Panic count down begin.
