A song perfect for middle school dances, Brian McKnight‘s “Back at One” likely made your “dreams come true” in the late 90s.  

Brian McKnight’s “Back at One” is the title track to the album of the same name, which was “certified triple platinum in the US, the album is his best-selling album with McKnight at the height of his career.” – Wikipedia.

Back at One was also nominated for best R&B album.  Sadly, McKnight lost to TLC’s Fanmail.  How Unpretty.
