Forget-Me-Not: Cracker-”Low”
The 90s were full of trying times for musicians globally. Resisting the urges of 80s influence, being swallowed by grunge normalcy, and becoming artillery for the MTV canon were issues every musician faced.
The 90s American Alternative band, Cracker, was no different. But they did manage to sneak a few hits into popular circulation, particularly the hit “Low” off of their album Kerosene Hat.
Band members, David “Low”ery and Johnny Hickman, founded Cracker and have since gone on to make 10 studio albums. Yeah I said it. 1o.
Their story isn’t very interesting so no need to elaborate. We just really like this song and certainly value its relevance in our Forget-Me-Not library.
Enjoy.
PS I included two more hits from Kerosene Hat. Remember?
Cracker-”Low”
Cracker-”Get Off This”
Cracker-”Euro-Trash Girl”
