Forget-Me-Not: Railroad Earth – “Been Down This Road”
If you’ve never heard of Railroad Earth, come down this road and listen to this song. You’ll thank me later.
This song is, in my opinion, the perfect bluegrass song. The song, “Been Down This Road,” is by the New Jersey-based band Railroad Earth, who got their name from the Jack Kerouac story “October in the Railroad Earth.”
The band formed in 2001 for the purpose of getting together, hanging out, and playing some music. This easy going, carefree attitude never left Railroad Earth and is beautifully reflected in “Been Down This Road.”
Listen for yourself.
