Don’t be put off by the estrogen driven wailing going on in this concert’s intro. The John Mayer Trio is legit.

I understand that Mr. Mayer has been coined as one of popular music’s most notorious heartthrobs, but what you must understand is that the man is a guitar spartan.

Mayer is as legit as the greats before his time including Eric Clapton, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, and Jimi Hendrix. You can argue this up and down, but all that I ask is that you prove I am wrong.
