Grace Potter and the Nocturnals + JJ Grey and Mofro to kick off summer in Forsyth Park
Each year, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) hosts an annual New Alumni Concert celebrating the accomplishments of graduating seniors. Meanwhile, the rest of us are just excited to have a free concert in Forsyth Park.
The school has brought such acts as James Brown, Michael Franti & Spearhead with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Ziggy Marley and the Neville Brothers.
This year’s show will feature the sultry sounds of GRACE POTTER & THE NOCTURNALS, plus Jacksonville, FL southern-soul group JJ GREY & MOFRO.
The concert is free and begins at 7pm at Forsyth Park in Savannah, GA on Friday, June 1.
More details from the student voice of SCAD and Savannah Morning News.
