The song is an original by White and was included in the rockumentary It Might Get Loud which featured White, along with Jimmy Page and The Edge. If you haven’t seen It Might Get Loud, you might get to it. (It’s on Netflix streaming).
White wrote “Fly Farm Blues” when he and It Might Get Loud‘s director Davis Guggenheim talked about how songs nowadays are over-prepared and over-produced. In response, White wrote “Fly Farm Blues” in ten minutes.
