HBO will debut Martin Scorsese‘s two-part George Harrison documentary, George Harrison: Living in a Material World, on October 5th and 6th.  

George Harrison: Living in a Material World has been in the works since 2005, when Olivia Harrison, George’s wife, attended the premiere of Scorsese’s Bob Dylan documentary, No Direction Home.  She later approached Scorsese about the project.  Needless to say, the rest is history.

The documentary features recent interviews with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, George Martin, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton and many more.

George Harrison: Living in a Material World will be accompanied by a lavish companion book packed with unseen Harrison photos and diary entries.
