Pretty Lights Mixing Up D.M.C. For EA Sports SSX [PREMIERE]

Electronic soundlord, Pretty Lights, has teamed up with EA Sports for the release of their wildly successful snowboard franchise, SSX. What the hell for?

Well Derek Smith (Pretty Lights) has taken on one of Run D.M.C‘s most notorious hits, “It’s Tricky“, and stirred it into a colorful heart thumping electronic dish. The song will be on the SSX soundtrack and will be used within the video game to add to the already existing excitement. SSX is scheduled to drop in February.

Pretty Lights has experienced enormous success in the last couple of years, so it is truly no surprise that he is reaching these new heights.

‘I’ve always loved hip-hop, video games, and snowboarding, so it was truly an honor to put my twist on such a classic song for such a dope game. Can’twait to play it!’
