Radiohead Performs “Give Up the Ghost” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon [Video]
Watch Thom Yorke and Radiohead perform “Give Up the Ghost,” a song from their latest album, King of Limbs, on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
The song, one that sounds like an old Neil Young ballad, features Thom Yorke pouring his heart out and singing (probably to Jimmy Fallon) “Don’t hold me, don’t hurt me.” Yorke and fellow guitarist Jonny Greenwood quietly pluck their guitars, while looping the “Don’t hold me/hurt me” statements, almost as if Yorke is begging his listener(s) to concede.
Listen for yourself. What do you think Thom Yorke is trying to say?
