“So Why Do They Call You Lil’ Wayne?”: MTV Unplugged
MTV’s Unplugged has selected Lil’ Wayne to be the first hip-hop artist to showcase a catalog of favorites since 2002. Lil’ Wayne will be performing an all acoustic set while ridin’ solo.
Other hip-hop artists who have performed on Unplugged since its’ debut in 1989 include LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest, and De La Soul.
Needless to say Lil’ Wayne + Sunday night + acoustic set = What could possibly not be entertaining.
The show airs this Sunday, June 12 at 9 p.m. on MTV, MTV2, and MTV.com.
