British-born soul jazz guitarist, Chris Standring, lays down “Oliver’s Twist” in today’s Thursday Jazz Session.
This whimsical jazz thread is currently at #1 on Billboard’s Top 100 Jazz songs and has all of the likings of a hit hound.
Standring was a member of SolarSystem ( a three piece jazz ensemble) and found much success with the group before launching his solo career (back in 1998) with the album entitled Velvet.
